Here’s three of my favourite detox smoothies that I make at home. You can have them for breakfast or as a mid-meal snack to keep you hydrated and full of healthy goodness.
Peanut Butter & Mango Smoothie
Recipe
1 Banana
Half a fresh mango or a handful of frozen mango chunks.
One and a half tablespoons of smooth Peanut Butter (preferable an organic variety with no added sugar or salt).
Two cups of milk or non-dairy milk alternative such as un-sweetened Soya or Almond milk.
Directions
Chop the banana and mango into chunks and place into a blender.
Spoon in one and a half rounded tablespoons of smooth Peanut Butter.
Add one and a half cups of milk.
Blend away until the mixture becomes a thick milkshake consistency. Add water or more milk if you want a less thick smoothie.
Pour into a glass and enjoy
